C/Capt Christopher A. Vecchi, CAP

Chris Vecchi first joined the Civil Air Patrol in 1996, serving as a cadet member of the Wright Brothers 282nd Aero Composite Squadron in New Lebanon, Ohio. As a cadet, Mr. Vecchi:

- Earned the Amelia Earhart Award.

- Participated in the National Ground Search and Rescue school 1998-1999.

- Participated as a primary delegate to the Ohio Wing CAC from 1998-1999.

- Named the 1999 Group VII, Ohio Wing Phase III Cadet of the Year.

- Served as the squadron's Cadet Commander from 1999 through 2000.

After his service as a cadet, Mr. Vecchi transferred his membership to become an officer. He held numerous staff positions including as Squadron Commander from 2007 to 2010.

C/TSgt Jason D. Rodriguez, CAP

Jason Rodriguez first joined the Civil Air Patrol in 1996 serving as a cadet member of the Wright Brothers 282nd Aero Composite Squadron in New Lebanon, Ohio. As a cadet, Mr. Rodriguez:

- Served as a qualified Ground Team Member

- Attended the Hawk Mountain Ranger School.

- Completed BCUT / ACUT Training and holds ROA.

After his service as a cadet, Mr. Rodriguez transferred his membership to become an officer. He was later promoted to the grade of Captain and served in numerous squadron staff positions, including as the Deputy Commander.

C/LtCol Daniel Tebo, CAP

Daniel Tebo first joined the Civil Air Patrol in 2001, as a cadet member of the Wright Brothers 282nd Aero Composite Squadron in New Lebanon, Ohio.

As a cadet, Mr. Tebo:

- Earned the Ira C. Eaker Award.

- Participated in the Pararescue Orientation Course: 2005.

- Participated in National Blue Beret: 2004.

- Participated in GLR Summer Encampment: 2003 (Staff), 2002 (Basic).

- Participated as a primary delegate to the Ohio Wing CAC.

- Participated on the Group VII Drill Team: 2001-2003. 

- Named the 2001 Group VII, Phase II Cadet of the Year.

- Named the 2002 Ohio Wing Junior Cadet Officer of the Year. 

- Named the 2003 Group VII, Phase IV Cadet of the Year. 

- Served as the Squadron's Cadet Commander.

Since separating from the CAP in 2006, Mr. Tebo has earned a B.A. in Political Science from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He is now serving within the United States Air Force; where he is assigned to the Air Force's Office of Special Investigations where their mission is to "to identify, exploit, and neutralize criminal, terrorist and intelligence threats to the Air Force, Department of Defense, and U.S. Government".

C/2d Lt Austen Bright, CAP

Austen Bright first joined the Civil Air Patrol in 2002 as a cadet member of the Wright Brothers 282nd Aero Composite Squadron in New Lebanon, Ohio.

As a cadet, Mr. Bright:

- Earned the Billy Mitchell Award

- Served as a qualified Ground Team Member

- Attended the Hawk Mountain Ranger School.

- Attended the 2003 Ohio Wing Encampment

- Attended the 2003 Ohio Wing NCO Academy

- Participated in the National Aviation Career Academy

- Earned Air Force Sergeant's Association Award

- Earned Air Force Association Award.

C/2d Lt Samantha N. Currier, CAP

Samantha Currier first joined the Civil Air Patrol in 2006 as a cadet member of the Wright Brothers 282nd Aero Composite Squadron in New Lebanon, Ohio.

As a cadet, Ms. Currier:

- Earned the Billy Mitchell Award.

- Served as a qualified Ground Team Member

- Served as a member of the Northmont Navy Junior ROTC.

Ms. Currier is currently continuing her education at Emery Riddle Aeronautical University in Florida.

C/CMSgt Nathan D. Blevins, CAP

Nathan Blevins first joined the Civil Air Patrol in 2006 as a cadet member of the Wright Brothers 282nd Aero Composite Squadron in New Lebanon, Ohio.

As a cadet, Mr. Blevins:

- Served as a qualified Ground Team Member

- Attended the Hawk Mountain Ranger School.

- Completed BCUT / ACUT Training and holds ROA.

Mr. Blevins is currently continuing his service as the cadet commander.
